Feb trip....

So....I've been thinking, what's going to be the theme for the Feb trip to Vieques?

Food....Not just any food, but good food.

There's so much chatter on TA about where to get food stuffs and what places to eat, What does it cost. Do I need to shop in SJU, yada yada.

So I'm thinking, as I set here eating my beet/grapefruit/spinach/pine nut salad, lets' do this same thing on Vieques. We usually do  it anyway, but don't film or document it. I mean, I eat this sheit every day. We can do this. I've cooked green curry chicken for Judy and Andre, we can do this.

VoilĂ

Now the pressure is on Lorrie to develope the menu for this trip.

  1. Have been following your post for some time and was wondering if you were still returning to Vieques in February. I would think your menu will have to be somewhat flexible depending on what is available. Have a Merry Christmas and we will be watching with interest for your posts in the new year.

  2. Yes, we'll be on island Feb 7th thru the 21st. One advantage is that we know pretty much what is available on island, especially this time of year. So...we will tailor our menu to that. The Mangos will be ripe on our friends property. I'm thinking some more of those mango pancakes. hmmmmm....

Thanks and glad you get a kick out of our "half baked" little blog.

We are getting on island feb 8th. We have to stay in SJU for one night cause of the darn airlines jacked our flight, again. Can't wait to see you two.

    1. I will be spending a lot of time on La Plata under a tie dyed cabana, can't miss it. Always a cold beer and occasionally some good single malt scotch available to all takers. Would like very much to meet and split the proverbial "atom."
